Eighth graders in Monongalia County got to see what jobs may available in the future at the annual eighth grade career fair at the Mylan Park Expo Center.
Students got to hear about a number of industries, and even heard from our own Tony J. Amormino and Stacy Moniot.
Organizers said it's important for students to know their options.
"It'll change throughout their whole life," said John George, of Monongalia County schools. "That's why we want them to visit all of the clusters. Just to get an idea of what they want before they start scheduling for their schedules in high school, and will they know what they want at the end of this, absolutely not, but we want to keep their minds open to everything."
About 500 students attended the fair.
