Unite's Arrive Alive Tour visited Lincoln High School Tuesday.
The campaign focuses awareness on distracted driving including drunk driving and texting while driving.
Students got the chance to watch a video about the dangers of distracted driving and then take a virtual drive in a drunk driving simulator.
They wore a headset that replicated the feeling of driving drunk.
The students said the experience made them think twice about distracted driving.
"I've never experienced drunk driving, and I more than likely won't do it, so I just wanted to see the effects were and everything else. And after that experience I will definitely not drink or text or anything like that," said Ty Wheeler, Lincoln High School sophomore.
The Arrive Alive Tour ends with the students signing a pledge that said they won't drive drunk or text while driving.
