Culinary challenges might bring the thought of celebrity judges and Iron Chefs to mind but maybe you should add WVU Dining Service to that list.
The Boreman Bistro at WVU has its own award-winning chef.
Andrew Brady won the "People's Choice Award" for best dish from the National Association of College and University Food Services Regional Culinary Challenge, hosted by Millersville University.
Brady said staff and students were very supportive of him competing.
"When I got back I got a lot of compliments from every dining hall," Brady said. "They all emailed and called me, all the students here congratulated me and it was a really warm feeling. I had three months to prepare and everybody in the University helped me out."
Brady won with his apple cider duck roulade and hopes to cook a pork version for the WVU students during finals week.
