West Virginia University School of Pharmacy hosted a Vera Bradley Bingo event Sunday.
All proceeds from the event benefited Relay for Life.
Guests paid $20 to play 20 games of bingo.
The American Cancer society was also there to educate people about what it does.
"They are also here giving away pamphlets and things about cancer to kind of educate people," said Amber Gower, a second year School of Pharmacy student at WVU. "They are also telling people how they donate the money. Such as giving people that have cancer they need wigs. They also fund money for Hope Lodges where people can stay when they are receiving chemo and they also fund cancer research."
All of the prizes at the event were, of course, Vera Bradley purses.
