Easter may have been last week, but for some four-legged friends it might as well have been Saturday.
WVDogs held its annual Doggie Easter Egg Hunt Saturday in Clarksburg at Veterans' Park Dog Park.
Homemade treats were made by WVDogs and placed inside of 1,000 eggs for the dogs to find.
Donations were accepted, and the proceeds go towards a good cause.
"The money will be turned into Clarksburg Parks and Recreation. We don't keep anything for ourselves. We sponsor all of our activities ourselves so the money will be turned into them, and specified for improvements to the dog park. They have ordered a new doggie fountain for the dog park," explained Anna Montgomery, with WVDogs.
Montgomery said Saturday was the best turnout the event has had in the last 6 years it has hosted it with almost 50 dogs.
