Governor Earl Ray Tomblin will consider three candidates to fill the seat of the 26th Judicial Circuit.
The Judiciary Vacancy Advisory Commission has submitted the names of Upshur County Prosecuting Attorney Jacob Reger, assistant Harrison County prosecuting attorney Kurt W Hall, and attorney Carolyn Sue Holvey.
"There were seven candidates in total, and narrowed down to three. We try to have between two to five candidates for each vacancy", said Debra H. Scudiere, commission chair.
Tomblin can choose one of the three or appoint someone else.
Judge Thomas Keadle served Lewis and Upshur Counties until his retirement in January.
