Families in Lewis County enjoyed an egg hunt at a local landmark Sunday afternoon.
More than 200 kids and their families braved the chilly weather for the egg hunt at the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston.
4,000 eggs were hidden on the front lawn of the building.
Kids were split up by age group and had its own area to gather eggs.
Organizers said they're happy to share this event in front of an historic landmark with the rest of the community.
"I think it's good for the community to be able to get together, check out what we've been done with the facility, give them a little bit of education on how we're working here and what we're trying to work towards, which is the preservation of this beautiful building," said Rebecca Jordan Gleason, TALA operations manager.
