The Monongalia County Habitat for Humanity is currently building two homes in Morgantown.
The non-profit is finishing up its 41st home, known as the "House that WVU built."
The WVU Division of Design and Merchandising and the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism helped fund the project.
Twenty five theme built homes are being built across the state this year to celebrate Habitat West Virginia's 25th anniversary.
"We were selected to do three of those theme builds here, so we have the house that WVU built which is our 41st house, than the energy star house will be house number 43, then the 700th house will be our 42 house," said Shawnda Cook, of Habitat for Humanity.
Construction on the 700th house has started.
It will be the 700th Habitat for Humanity House built in West Virginia.
