The United Hospital Center is hosting a program for people with diabetes.
'Dining with Diabetes' is a five-session program that teaches people with diabetes how to eat right and control it.
The program offers nutritional information, recipe demonstrations, and exercise tips.
One of the organizers said the reason the hospital hosts the program is to show participants how to live healthy.
"We just hope that all the tools we give them that they can use them and power their own selves to manage their lives and live a really healthy life. That's the purpose of the program," said Becky Smith of the WVU Extension Service.
