The new Panera Bread location in Morgantown grand opening has been pushed to 2014.
The new two-story location will provide about 80 new jobs to the area, featuring both full and part time positions, along with 3rd shift baker positions.
Panera representatives said a date for the opening has not been set.
The new Panera Bread in Morgantown is still being built and it's causing some road delays.
The end of North High Street is closed until the intersection of Willey Street. Construction crews needed to close the road down to fit equipment for the building.
The restaurant will be a café and bakery express style Panera Bread.
The building is still in the beginning stages. Construction crews are just now laying the foundation.
Panera said it is working to build a new location at the intersection of High Street and Willey Street in downtown Morgantown.
Panera already has a store on Patteson Drive and it previously announced its plans to expand to High Street.
Panera said its new location is currently scheduled to open in October.
