What goes into being a top college professor? For starters, being a positive role model, great educator and researcher, and having real-world experience.
Dr. Greg Noone is director of the National Security and Intelligence Program at Fairmont State University and last week the Faculty Merit Foundation named him its 2012 Professor of the Year.
Noone said he's honored, and that the award represents FSU.
"It means a great deal. Its quite an honor. It means a great deal to Fairmont State University. I really won it on behalf of all of our students as well as the rest of the faculty at Fairmont. We have such wonderful students who come to our University," Noone said.
Dr. Noone has written a book that will be released in Washington, D.C. this April.
