Jobless numbers in Lewis County are up for the third month in a row.
Unemployment rose to 7.3 percent in February.
The state average was 7.4 percent.
That's up almost two percent from a low of 5.6 percent in November.
County Commissioner Agnes Queen said despite those numbers there are still plenty of jobs to be found in Lewis County.
"In fact, I do a weekly job posting on my Facebook page and have a page that's set up for Lewis County jobs. And usually there's anywhere from 100 to anywhere near 200 jobs available on any given week," Queen said.
Queen said the loss of holiday jobs contributed to the increase in unemployment but that the number should go down as the weather warms up.
