A Monongah man who claimed he'd been kidnapped and forced to buy products to make meth has pleaded not guilty in Marion County Court.
Matthew Delovich faces three counts of reporting a false emergency.
State Police said Delovich told them he had been kidnapped at gun point by Jonathon Cochran and Andrea Jarrell and forced to buy Sudafed at a Morgantown pharmacy.
State Police said Delovich actually initiated a conversation with Jarrell and offered to fix her car if she would "help him get a buzz."
His trial will be in June, according to Marion County Prosecuting Attorney Pat Wilson.
Delovich is being held on home confinement.
