The Clarksburg Water Board said it replaced about ten feet of eight inch main and the repairs were completed Sunday night. Water service has been restored to the affected area.
Some Clarksburg residents were without water on Sunday after a waterline break near the intersection of Baltimore Avenue and Sycamore Street.
It happened around 3:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
The Clarksburg Police said crews were expected to arrive shortly to fix the waterline. Officials could not provide details on how many people were affected and how long it would take for the issue to be fixed.
Officers were blocking off portions of Baltimore Avenue, as the waterline break did cause some flooding.
