Some WVU students spent their Saturday dancing to raise money for the Children's Hospital at Ruby Memorial.
The dance marathon started at noon on Saturday in Stansbury Hall. This year's theme is 'Super heroes'
"I know it's my favorite part to get to see the kids, some of the families actually come up and talk about their experience in the hospital and how much it means to them," said Samantha Hardbarger, the Co-Chair of the event. "Everyone is tearing up and stuff, it's just really touching to hear their stories and why we're all doing this. It just makes it all worth it."
The students danced until midnight. The event raised more than $35,000. All of the money will go straight to WVU Children's Hospital.
