The Monongalia Arts Center has a new exhibit that began Friday and will continue through the end of the month.
'Starseeds' by Jacob McGill and Sharon Stackpole focuses on astronomy and how people are all connected.
The artists are donating 25 percent from the sales of the to a food pantry, Hissom Inter-city Mission in Charleston, West Virginia.
"Also, raise awareness that are people going hungry in general right now," said Sharon Stackpole, one of the artists. "This is hard times for everybody, we've talked to people that are struggling and making ends meet. Just to raise awareness for everyone, not just in Charleston, for everyone...about food pantries and the different things you can donate to."
The art exhibit is free to view and open to the public.
Stackpole's paintings do not exceed $200.
