After more than a year of construction, the Family Life Center at Stealey Assembly of God in Clarksburg opened its doors to the public on Saturday.
Pastor Mark Greaver led the ribbon cutting ceremony, which was followed by an open house with food and refreshments.
Greaver said everyone is welcome to the facility and he's thrilled it's finally open.
"This day and this weekend has been long coming, and, so we are so excited. We are just overflowing with energy," said Greaver.
The multipurpose facility consists of a basketball court, nursery, kitchen, meeting room, and the pastor's office.
Greaver said he sees the facility being used for events such as "basketball games, kids carnivals, and youth group meetings."
He said he hopes Clarksburg residents become aware of the facility.
