The Randolph County Commission has heard from two organizations requesting funding.
Elkins On-Trac presented its yearly report and outlined its accomplishments during the fiscal year.
It is requesting an increase in funding from the commission to keep a VISTA volunteer on board to support current and future projects.
"It's a very economical way to get full time staff through a Vista volunteer. In fiscal year 2014, the second year of Vista service expires and will not be renewed," said Karen Carper of Elkins On-Trac.
Elkins On-Trac is asking for $15,000 to support staff and programs.
The Child Advocacy Center asked for level funding from the commission.
The commission will make its decision at a future meeting.
