The WellWVU program discusses health and wellness topics with students at West Virginia University.
Thursday night student health educators held an "Eat This Not That" discussion as part of their Eat Well series. The discussion was designed to help students eat healthier when they go out and how to buy healthy foods at the grocery store.
"The goal of Eat Well in the whole is to get students to eat five servings of fruits and vegetables a day," said Justin Roth, a student health educator with WellWVU. "So that's what we're trying to push. Adding fruits to your morning cereal or yogurt, carrying carrots or celery sticks through out the day when for when you're hungry. Then eating at least half of your plate fruits and vegetables for lunch and dinner."
The program also has Chill Well, Live Well, Love Well and many more. The group tries to hold a few events each week. If you want to learn more visit their website.
