The West Virginia Wesleyan football program got off to a slow start on the recruiting trail when George Shehl was hired as head coach in December after former coach Jonas Jackson resigned. The late start didn't seem to affect the Bobcats, as Shehl and his staff signed 12 players on National Signing Day, while continuing to still sign additional players after the big day.

Howard High School
Ellicott City, Md.
5-10, 180, RB
Anderson rushed for 1,395 yards and 21 TD's in 8 games his senior year. He was also a 4 year starter on varsity. Anderson was named 1st Team All-County and 1st Team All-Metro his senior year. He was also named 2nd Team All-County his junior year. Michael was elected to the Baltimore TouchdownClub All-Star Game and the Maryland Crab Bowl Game.
Reservoir High School
6-0, 185, S
Armstrong was an all county receiver as a junior. As a senior he played running back and was an all county DB. He led his team to the first playoff birth in the 11 years the school has been open as a senior. The Fulton, Md. native was Reservoir's first 1000 yard rusher as a senior year. Rushed for 1,085 yards and recorded 437 receiving yards as a senior with 15 touchdowns, while also intercepting four passes.
Woodland Hills High School
6-2, 260, OL
Barnes was a two way varsity player for Coach Greg Novak. He is a physically dominating presence on the field and athletically gifted.
St. Mary's Ryken High School
6-3, 195, QB
Deal attended Thomas Stone High School for freshman through junior year. Transferred to St. Mary's Ryken High School for senior year. He was a three year starting quarterback for varsity football and four year varsity baseball player.
Frederick Douglas High School (Milford Academy)
6-1, 185, WR
Gee is a stand out wide receiver from Maryland. He has great route running skills and is threat in the short, intermediate, and deep passing game. He has great athleticism and size, and his quickness will pose many difficulties for defenses.
Salpointe High School
6-2, 260, OL
Cody Gibson was a starter on the offensive line of powerhouse Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, AZ. He anchored an offensive line that averaged over 240 yards rushing per game. He helped lead his team to a 12-2 record and a berth in the state semi-final playoff game.
Mallard Creek High School
5-10, 170, S
Henderson is a physical defensive back from Charlotte, NC. He has great strength, speed, and ball skills for a DB.
North Hagerstown High School
6-4, 270, OL
Trey was an integral part to the offense for North Hagerstown High School. He started 3 years for Coach Cunningham at North Hagerstown. He received Maryland All-State honors his senior year and was elected to the Baltimore Touchdown Club All-Star Game. He also carries a 4.0 overall GPA at North Hagerstown.
Thomas Jefferson High School
Jefferson Hills, Pa.
5-11, 170, WR
Schademan was the leading receiver for Thomas Jefferson with 52 catches for 1,112 yards and 21 TD's. He helped lead his team to a 11-1 record his senior year.
McDonogh High School
Owings Mills, Md.
5-10, 185, CB
Weems was named MIAA All-Conference for three years at McDonogh. Led his team to the state semi-finals as a senior.
Patuxent High School
6-4, 270, DT
Weldon was a three-time all-county and two-time all-conference selection as well as a SMAC senior all-star.
Avon High School
6-1, 175, QB
Zeh was a 1st Team All-Lorain County, 1st Team All-Northeast Lakes, and 2nd team All-Ohio. He was voted on by his peers as a captain for the 2012 Regional Runner-Up team that finished 11-2. Threw for over 2,100 yards, with 24 touchdowns through the air and 5 touchdowns on the ground. In his spare time Zeh works directly with the founder of the Love Haiti non-profit relief organization. Zeh received the VFW Summit Leadership Award for being a leader to the community on and off of the field.
