Plans are underway in Elkins for a clean-up of the Tygart Valley River.
This will the 10th year volunteers have removed debris from its river banks.
Nine groups will start the cleanup at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 13.
The city said volunteers can remove an up to two tons of debris from the river.
"We kind of a have to change our strategy based on the river whether its high or low, but there's always stuff to clean up. It washes up from the river, it gets deposited on the banks, but it's a good chance to get it cleaned up it really is," said Bob Pingley, operations manager.
Volunteers will meet at the city's street garage on Baxter Street.
