Wednesday was Digital Learning Day at Grafton High School in Taylor County.
The students worked on video game production.
They used Globaloria to make hidden object games that utilize math, science, and civics.
Teachers said it's important for students to keep ahead of the constantly changing technology.
"The technology skills they are learning are absolutely essential to things that they might be doing at home or cross curriculum or other class studies and so forth and then it will definitely give them a leg up as they pursue their post secondary studies," said Stacy Ward, of Grafton High School.
State Board of Education member Michael Green was Wednesday's guest of honor.
