WellWVU is encouraging students to eat healthy.
Part of that includes programs like eatWELL and treatWELL. On Wednesday, students learned how to cookWELL.
This was the first of four classes this semester.
The students learned to prepare healthy Mexican food.
"We are going to be focusing on tasting new recipes, and then also promoting nutrition, and really getting hands on experience so they can try these recipes at home. We are going to be focusing on Central American cuisine, Mexican cuisine, and then we'll progress to other food cultures next fall," said Megan Govindan, the director of the Didactic Program in Dietetics.
WellWVU will offer more cookWELL classes in February and March.
