A weekly used book sale helps support projects at the Morgantown Library.
Volunteers host the used book sale every Tuesday and on the first and third Saturdays of the month.
They sell thousands of books, often for about 10-percent of their list prices.
Supporters donate the books and organizers said every once in a while, they stumble on a gem.
"We have one person that goes through books that we may think are collectable, and one time we did get a Bambi book, a kid's book, and it was worth $2,000. We did eventually sell it for less than that, but it brought in a good price," said William Mahoney, a volunteer.
Last year, the used book sales made the library more than $8,000.
