A Lewis County landmark honored its namesake Friday.
Jackson's Mill hosted a buffet dinner in honor of Stonewall Jackson's 189th birthday.
The event was a chance for the public to enjoy a meal at the center's dining hall.
The dining staff said the homemade meals are a big draw to people across the state.
"It's all homestyle cooking, for all the meals we have fresh homemade rolls from our kitchen, and they just love the atmosphere," said Dining Services supervisor Jean Stump.
The dinner wrapped up at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Stump expected hundreds of people to come out for the dinner.
