Monongalia County Commission is looking at ways to help stay informed on its proceedings.
The commission is hoping a podcast will allow people to hear the meetings without needing to attend.
Also, meetings will no longer be held on Wednesdays at 10.
The commission moved Wednesday to schedule meeting times three weeks in advance.
The commission will meet on Wednesdays at 3 p.m., over the next three weeks.
The time change is due to scheduling conflicts with new commissioner Tom Bloom.
"I'm real pleased to say we're looking to put on our web site a podcast, which would have the information in the meetings, so people could listen to the meetings a hear what happened. Again it's just one more thing I'm working on. I ran as a grassroots candidate, and I'm trying to get people from all over the county to hear what's going on so they wouldn't have to attend the meeting," said Tom Bloom, of the Monongalia County Commission.
A podcast would be posted to the commission website. There's no word on when that might begin.
