Canaan Valley Resort State Park has a new attraction for winter sports lovers.
The resort has cut the ribbon on its newly-improved tube park.
The tube park has space for up to 16 lanes with a 1,200 foot run.
Boardwalk conveyors, known as a Magic Carpet, make getting back to the top an easy ride.
The park also features a thousand square foot warming station with restrooms, a fireplace, lounges, a viewing area, and an outside plaza with a fire ring.
The report said the improvements will enhance winter sports for visitors.
"Tubing and sled riding is good traditional family fun," said Rob Gilligan, of Canaan Valley State Park. "So what it's going to bring is a nice hill for families to get together and have fun, we've got an outdoor fireplace where they can sit and have there hot chocolate snacks and just have fun."
The tube park is part of a $12 million expansion and renovation project at Canaan Valley Resort State Park.
