People are calling it the "Dairy Cliff" and it could cause prices of milk and dairy to jump in price. From the current average of $3.50 all the way up to $8 a gallon.
Congress reached a compromise Sunday that will put off the farm bill for at least a year.
If a new bill is not passed, or the current law isn't extended, milk and dairy prices will rise significantly.
