It seems like just yesterday that people were standing in long lines outside of stores, ready to begin their holiday shopping.
Now it's crunch time and shoppers are flooding into malls and department stores for those last-minute gifts.
Most stores are extending their business hours to accommodate those last-minute shoppers.
Target employees said traffic throughout the store has steadily increased throughout the past week but that everything has gone smoothly.
"We're really good at this store," said Colmas Munoz, Target manager. "Target has a sense of urgency of keeping the guests safe as well as all the team members."
"I'm pretty much done," said Jessica and Donna Struss, shoppers. ‘We get it all done earlier in the year."
Some store managers said if you plan to brave the last-minute crowds it's better to come closer to closing time.
