The Angel Luv Program has been working for the past few months to collect gifts for needy children.
The group located in Shinnston and Lumberport distributed the gifts and toys they collected Saturday afternoon at Lincoln High School.
Over 2,700 gifts were donated to the program from local organizations, churches and school groups. Director of the program, Dick Miller, said that it's been growing every year since it started.
"This is the most we've ever served. And it seems like these two little communities just keep giving. If we can make this a place where, ‘if you need help you can come for help, and when you get on your feet you'll help somebody else' it's a better place to live and a better place to raise our kids" said Miller.
The Angel Luv Program has been running for the last 21 years. The first year they served 200 children, and this year they served 450 children.
