Students at Elkins High School held a blood drive Monday for the American Red Cross.
The student body tries to hold blood drives at least three times a year.
More than 20 students gave blood Monday.
Another 45 are scheduled for Tuesday.
"We get to participate, and give our help to stock up on the blood so if there's ever a crisis in this area or wherever in the state we can help and do our part," said Colleen Webley, an Elkins High School senior.
The blood drive will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in room 121 at Elkins High School.
The public is invited to participate.
