Repair crews have restored the power lost after Superstorm Sandy but another challenge faces cleanup crews.
The storm left a lot of debris behind, most of it from trees in the storm's path.
Most of that debris has been cleared away to make roads passable.
But in many places, it remains on the roadside.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency and the state are hiring contractors to clear away the debris.
FEMA said it expects to collect almost one million cubic yards of debris.
