Bells and carols may come to mind when thinking of the holiday spirit, but the word "spirit" has a different meaning in Weston.
The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum will still hold tours through the winter, even though its busiest season has passed.
TALA will host ghost hunts on most Saturdays for people who can't wait for warmer weather to get their supernatural fix.
Asylum staff said the colder weather actually makes it easier for their tours to have themselves a paranormal Christmas.
"More things happen whether it be a touch, a breath, whether you're recording someone speaking to you or asking your name, or even a tug on your clothes, you never can really tell, but it's always a bit more fun here in the winter," said director Rebecca Jordan Gleason.
