The West Virginia State Police made an arrest in the stabbing that happened Sunday morning at the Tumbleweed Saloon on Grafton Road in Monongalia County.
Troopers arrested Randy Darryl Cleveland early Tuesday morning, and charged him with malicious wounding.
According to troopers, Cleveland and another man, James Rogers, got into a fight in the saloon's parking lot when the stabbing happened.
Rogers received multiple stab wounds and was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital for his injuries. There is no word on his current condition.
An arrest warrant was obtained and Cleveland was arrested at a residence along Gillespie Road at approximately 2 a.m. Tuesday.
Cleveland will be arraigned by a Monongalia County magistrate Tuesday.
West Virginia State Police are investigating a stabbing at Tumbleweed Saloon on Grafton Road.
One man was stabbed around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, state police said. The man was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. His name is not currently being released.
No arrests have been made at this time.
