Friendly Furniture in Fairmont had it's grand reopening just in time for Small Business Saturday. The store closed for the week while the floor and walls were redone.
The store also got a few new lines of furniture in for the reopening on Saturday. Owners Deloris and Louis Spatafore said the store tries to get furniture that is made in the United States.
The Spatafores also decided it would be nice to give back to the community on the day of the reopening.
"We had a ribbon cutting and we had a ribbon of fifty $10 bills and we donated the money to United Way," said Deloris Spatafore. "And my mother in law was here for it, she's the patriarch of our family."
The owners said they were pleased with the turn out and have been very busy through out the day. Friendly Furniture is open seven days a week.
