Black Friday is just around the corner, but some people got a head start on their holiday shopping Thursday morning.
A line formed outside of K-Mart on Emily Drive starting at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
K-Mart staff opened their doors at 6 a.m. Thursday to more than 100 eager customers.
The most popular items people were going for were electronics, especially televisions and computers.
Staff said the morning rush was crazy but everything went smoothly.
"People stood in line for hours and we didn't have enough," said store manager Shirley Hulderman. "We tried to be as fair, we handed out tickets and we try to have a good variety of things. So people were disappointed they didn't get everything that was shown in the ad but hopefully everybody did leave satisfied."
K-Mart will open again Thursday night at 8 p.m. to 3 a.m., then again at 5 a.m. Friday.
There will be different door buster specials at both opening times.
