The Clarksburg Mission will take people in for Thanksgiving and serve them a traditional meal.
"Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, hopefully some sweet potatoes, we do need some of those donated, if there is anyone out there that has some extra sweet potatoes that they want to send in. So we're looking at a traditional turkey Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings," said Liz Collett, the dining food manager.
The mission said people have been dropping off food and other supplies it needs, including bouquets of flowers that they will use as centerpieces on the tables during dinner.
The mission said it is running low on turkeys and could use some more.
"We do provide turkeys for food baskets for the community in need. We also provide turkeys to other food pantries and those that will send them out in their areas. So we are looking for turkeys. Plus, between now and Christmas, we'll have several orders that we will have to fill for the Christmas holiday as well" Collett said.
It will also have activities going on throughout the day for entertainment.
