With Thanksgiving Day just two days away, you may want to keep in mind some food safety tips.
The Monongalia County Health Department wants to remind us to wash our hands thoroughly before cooking.
They said turkeys should be thawed in a refrigerator for 24 hours for every five pounds of meat.
The turkey should be cooked at 325 degrees for 15 minutes per pound.
Leftover food should be refrigerated within two hours to limit the growth of bacteria.
