A Barbour County landmark is welcoming the holiday season with a series of buffets.
The Adaland Mansion held its first holiday buffet that was open to the public Sunday afternoon.
Mansion staff hosted several seatings throughout the afternoon and offered a classic homemade meal.
Staff there said they enjoy helping others to celebrate the season.
"It's a lot of excitement to have everybody come out and have a meal with us. Our cooks work on this for days doing our baking and preparing," said Betty Carr, a staff member and tour guide at Adaland.
The mansion will host two more dinners before Christmas.
