First he ran across the country, now he's running to Subway.
Jamie Summerlin's 100-day run across American caught the attention of popular food chain, Subway.
Subway plans to donate more than $111,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Summerlin said teaming up with Subway to tell his story and raise awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project is an honor.
"It's a win win for everybody," Summerlin said. "Subway obviously feels great about being able to support our veterans, and people as they come in and contribute and purchase great food here at Subway, they're able to know that their money is going to support a great cause and everyone benefits with this great cause Subway has put together."
The Wounded Warrior Project honors and assists injured veterans.
