The Fairmont Senior High School Boys and Girls Soccer teams won the regional championship a little over a week ago.
Now, both teams will be playing in the West Virginia High School Soccer Tournament in Charleston early next week.
The tournament was originally meant to be played in Beckley but was changed due to Superstorm Sandy.
The Polar Bear Soccer Boosters have reached out to the Marion County Commission asking for a donation to help with the cost of the trip.
"Anyone that is going to represent Marion County in the state or in the nation, we've helped little league teams and stuff like that,'' said Butch Tennant, of the Marion County Commission. "It's hard for them to raise that money to take that many students. We feel it is representing Marion County and we hope they can go out and win a state championship."
The Boys will face Bluefield and the Girls will face Pikeview on Tuesday in Charleston.
