The West Virginia Wildlife Center in Upshur County normally closes by 5 p.m. but it's making an exception this weekend to offer Spooky Night Tours in the woods for Halloween.
The wildlife center will host the tours Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27.
Activities will include hayrides and a bonfire along with guided tours of the wildlife center.
The animals there aren't used to a lot of night-time traffic and tend to be much more active in the dark.
"Just being in the woods at night with mountain lions, wolves, bears, and owls and so forth is kinda of scary in itself," said Gene Thorn, of the W.Va. Wildlife Center.
Admission is $3 for adults, $1.50 for kids 3 to 15 and free for kids under 3.
The wildlife center is located off Route 20 South in French Creek.
