The Department of Business and Entrepreneurship at Davis and Elkins College is holding a series of brown bag networking lunches for women entrepreneurs.
The first lunch got underway Friday afternoon.
Participants discussed a number of issues including finances, marketing, loans, social media, and work life balance.
The sessions allow female entrepreneurs to talk about specific topics and networking opportunities.
"We bring women together who are entrepreneurly minded, either they want to start a business or they already have a business and this is a way for us to gather topics for the upcoming monthly brown bag lunches that will be having until the Spring," said Carol Carter, of the Center for Entrepreneurship.
The lunches will take place monthly from November through May.
