Hope Incorporated in Fairmont is working to raise domestic violence awareness by displaying its Clothesline Project at Fairmont State University.
It is a display of shirts that represents a victim's experience.
Each color represents a different kind of domestic abuse.
Hope Inc. said doing this allows victims to share their stories.
"I think that it gives the victims a voice," said Felicia Marple, of Hope Inc. "They don't just get lost in the crowd. They get the chance to express themselves and let people know they are not just in a group of victims. They are individuals and they have a story."
Hope Incorporated's 24 hour hotline is 304-367-1100.
