The Lewis County Commission has discussed plans to visit the county's new courthouse annex, which is almost completely walled in.
Workers are finishing the building's exterior.
Commissioner Agnes Queen said the new annex will not only bring the county's court to one place, but also help in other ways, too.
"It was time for us to build a new judicial system to make things more safe, no only for those who work there, the judges, but also for the public that comes to those building and the different departments," Queen said.
The commission said it hopes to visit the annex later this week.
