After 15 years the Betty Puskar Fashion Show took its final bow Monday night.
Each year survivors and models come to the event to raise money for the Betty Puskar Breast Care Center. The survivor models walked the runway, and got a standing ovation at the end of the night.
"The best thing for me are the survivor models, since we have the most it gives you goose bumps and chills when they go on stage because when they're smiling, you're looking at someone who has beaten cancer. They have durability and determination, and when you see that on the runway it makes you want to go out and be your best self," said Patrick Stanislawczyk, fashion show chairperson.
West Virginia University Hospitals donated $10,000 to the Betty Puskar Breast Care Center.
