Members of the Morgantown Chamber of Commerce spent Monday morning in a meet and greet with Monongalia county candidates.
The chamber hosted about a dozen House of Delegates, and State Senate candidates.
The chamber said a hot topic for many business owners in the region is about roads.
"There is nothing more pro-business than roads right now, in terms of the people's ability to move around the county," said Kenneth Busz, of the Morgantown Chamber of Commerce. "It takes forever sometimes if you need to go from one side to the other, and time is money. Obviously it's a major inconvenience for anyone driving around the county."
The chamber said these events also give their members a chance to hear a number of ideas.
