The Clarksburg Police Department is investigating an incident at Liberty High School Friday.
Harrison County 911 received a call around 9 a.m. Friday that a person had jumped out of a window on the third floor at Liberty High School, according to the 911 center.
A medical helicopter service responded and a tenth grade student was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital, according to Liberty High School Principal Pamela Knight.
Principal Knight said the girl was coherent and injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
The high school will not be releasing further details at this time but said that the incident does not appear to be a result of bullying. School counselors are on site for students to speak with, according to school officials.
The Clarksburg Police Department said it will release more details after the school day.
