It's Homecoming Week at Webster County High School.
Students, parents, and community members attended a bonfire pep rally. Everyone took part in games and activities, dancing to the "Cupid Shuffle" and participated in races.
The bonfire was made possible by the Cowen Volunteer Fire Department
The pep rally used to be a tradition, but died out over the past several years.
"It's a time in our community when the economy is down and people are looking for something positive and upbeat to bring us together to remember the good times; to remember what it means to be a Highlander," said assistant principal Stacey Cutlip.
The Highlanders take on the Cavaliers of Greenbrier West Friday at 7:30 p.m.
