Students throughout Harrison County were preparing for their future Wednesday night.
The United Technical Center held its annual college and career night.
Students from 8th to 12th grade met with representatives of colleges to start looking ahead to life after high school.
Students also had the opportunity to look into career training, something organizers said can be just as beneficial as college.
"If you key into the top 10 jobs, or the top 25 jobs, fastest growing jobs, you'll see the majority of those positions will be in areas that you can start training here and finish your training after high school," said Paula Altman, counselor and assistant director at the center.
